Peter Koever aka Catamaran aka Cigany was an amazing modeler and artist. He was also a wonderful friend. Always there with a smile and a witty remark. Always trying to make you smile.
Even though Peter was suffering with Cancer for a very long time, he was always more concerned for the happiness of others than with himself
and he never let his disease determine his attitude. Most of his online friends were never even aware he HAD the disease and that is exactly the way he wanted it. He wanted to be seen like everybody else and would never have thought to garner pity or special treatment.
Sadly, though he had fought long and hard, Peter lost his battle with Cancer on May 2, 2009 and has passed on to sail on seas beyond our imagination.
Peter had been approached by companies to sell his fabulous models but he refused. He made the models for his friends in the art world to enjoy,not for money.

I have obtained many of Peters artworks from his best friend Dayna and will begin uploading them to a gallery today. I have between those and the link Werner sent me over 50 to upload so it will take a few days to get them all up but it will be a gallery to amaze once it is done.
