Born as the reincarnation of an ancient shamaness, Abigail Ghentry would inherit ancient powers of sorcery and witchcraft from her Celtic ancestors. Because of this, her family would be tortured to death trying to protect her from an evil man bent on the extermination of anyone accused of witchcraft or fornicating with the Devil. When he was done with her, Abigail would be would be taken before a crowd of cheering townspeople glaring in rage upon them as she was dragged atop a pyre with the bodies of her slain family within it. As a priest offered her one final chance to confess her sins... she would instead spit blood in his face because he knew her tongue had been torn from her head and could no longer confess even if she possessed any desire to do so. Lighting the pyre aflame, Abigail could smell the bodies of her family burning beneath her as spirits of the dead gathered around her. As the fires began to burn her body, a storm began to form above and as the spirit of a long dead goddess became awakened within her, lightning struck causing the pyre to explode forth in all directions. As Abigail rose into the skies, she would unleash destruction upon all who had done these things to her and cleanse the Earth of their evil forever.
